Three good things today:
I know what a person looks like who has been on the streets in winter, sleeping in a shelter, and you give them the keys to an apartment. And there is a bed and a shower with hot water. And in the morning, they don't have to go out into the cold. I saw it again today. Today I visited a client in the hospital. He almost died. Bad decisions. He's not out of the woods yet. But he was happy to see me. We have a new team member. -
