Big Tech spent €151 million lobbying the EU last year.

That’s 890 lobbyists — more than elected MEPs.

Now key digital rights like GDPR and the AI Act are being quietly rolled back.

We looked at who’s really influencing EU tech rules — and what’s happening behind closed doors. 👇

@corporateeurope that means Big-Tech lobbying is a very cheap thing to reduce appropriate taxes. Chapeau!

@tunda @corporateeurope My point for years now. Lobbying is cheap and effective. Citizens should do it! Become member of ngos with membership and pay a yearly fee. When millions of citizens do that it means extremely effective lobbying!

Not only sign petitions and donate here and there. I am talking membership. And force it upon your friends and family to do the same. Wear buttons and t-shirts.

Lobbyists from citizens are more welcome than those from industry: citizens vote, industry not.
