Tom Baker is my Doctor Who and the one guy i call creepy Who. he always freaked me out. took me decades, and #10, before i could finally enjoy the show.

@Natasha_Jay when I was a very wee boy and Tom was the Doctor, he signed my Doctor Who novels in a bookshop. Twenty five years later I got to host him in a theatre for his autobiography tour. My inner ten year old was very, very happy!

I bumped in to Tom a few years ago. I didn’t want intrude as he perused the wine selection in Waitrose but I knew I’d always regret not saying anything. So, politely and discretely I asked, “Excuse me, I don’t mean to bother you but…you do look a lot like Tom Baker.”
He leaned toward me and said, with that smile and a twinkle in his eye: “I used to be!”

Yes, but I found him fine, if deliberately weird.The guy after him, Peter Davidson, felt very bland.
Now Daleks, they literally gave me nightmares as a kid.

I can't remember. I really need to catch up on my Who as well. I found Tennant was really hard/funny to watch because he is the doppelgänger of my cousin which is hilarious and I think helped my cousin with his game with the ladies growing up to no end.

@blogdiva @Natasha_Jay Right? I recall the game Witcher 3 having an Easter egg where some angel statues on a cemetery move every time they’re not in view. First very subtly. The “Wait a minute… didn’t that statue face the other way just now?” *turns again* “OH SHIT! OH FUCK! NOPE NOPE NOPE!” was very strong.

I saw a recent photo of him in his Dr Who costume. A bit more frail, but still around with us.
