@liam I had assumed the National Guard wouldn't be any more helpful than cops, but I haven't been able to find a source talking about their behavior yet today. Where did you hear this?

@jamey Edited to say it was the MN state patrol, I don't believe national guard is there yet.
I saw this on Status Coup's livestream earlier this morning (which is currently paused for them to go warm up)

I think every police officer should be made aware every moment of the day in a coffee shop at a restaurant wherever they getting lunch, but nobody feels comfortable around them.
If you can management ask, you know how their day went so that’s great, too bad we don’t have anyone we can rely on to protect our safety, and we are angry and upset that our tax dollars a huge expense leaves us nonetheless without anyone in any public service to defend our rights in our lives
