        @Gina maybe a dumb question, but if someone started using the package under Apache 2.0, did the new AGPL only apply if you upgraded a version? Or does that require compliance for all previous users?

              @brianb Based on the announcement article, they had to make changes in order for it to be licensed as AGPL (they released a report about it at the same time). So I think it's safe to say earlier versions are still Apache, but this is a better question for a lawyer.

                @Gina@fosstodon.org This is why people prefer using actual free software, such as Garage, licensed under the AGPL-3.0, and hosted using free software too.

                Open Source is a scam, as has been proven countless times now.
