@ginaintheburg I'm surprised they aren't being charged with assaulting an officer for touching him. They absolutely would have been charged with murder if anything had gone wrong...

Two women say they helped an #ICE agent who had just detained them & was having a seizure, saving his life

The women say they guided the other agents, who had no clue what to do, through the emergency. When they then asked if they could just go home now, they were told no.

Their reluctantly bestowed reward was being allowed to make one call.

@ginaintheburg Well it's clear which side of this the good humans are on... I can only aspire to that level of compassion.

        You speak for us all.

Tho I do think you would find your innate humanity would kick in & lead you to instinctively respond the same way if you'd had their level of expertise. Even if not, I'm sure you would have tried to help in some way, if only to scream at the driver to get the agent medical care ASAP.

@ginaintheburg @janeadams No one’s under any obligation to assist someone who’s kidnapping you.

These β€œagents” are animals. They relish inflicting injury, blindness, torture, rape and death.

"A commanding officer eventually approached them.

β€œWe’re releasing you to your counsel and to your state representative,” the officer said, according to Amundson. β€œBut you need to tell everybody that we treated you kindly.”"

The USA is ran by morons.

This one, and the story of the ICE agents detaining the manager of a Mexican restaurant AFTER eating lunch there are really crazy to me. In both cases the people they want to deport literally just added positive value to their lives. At a minimum figure out how to look the other way at least in these situations.

Don't aid or abet the enemy, class. They will not reciprocate. They are not capable of empathy. They are monsters.

Agree 100%. That one's just pure evil - they planned that, the bastards. It's about human decency. The sadistic criminality of Trump et al is like a corrosive acid being poured all over what we've managed to achieve in that direction after generations of struggle & sacrifice.
