@jon They are a wrapper around google's browser engine (Chromium) and refuse to open source their code... How much could they possibly respect your privacy?

@jon I really like Vivaldi, especially the sessions functionality.
There's only one issue: after the first start up of the day, every subsequent time I start Vivaldi it takes something like 30 seconds before I can use it. It becomes totally unresponsive during that time. I've been in contact with support, but so far there has not been a solution. Which is a shame because apart from that it runs great. This is on Windows btw.

@jon @inthehands This browser is very nice, but I would love for it to do one thing, be a bit more privet. Would be super cool if you would scramble the fingerprint on it, to provide another layer of security, without the need for plugins.

@jon Iceland is a wonderful country with forward-looking legislation, but as a sparsely populated country like Greenland, it is vulnerable to invasion and occupation by bigger powers as occurred during WW2.

@caycedo I have been considering it lately, I have also been looking at #Floorp and #Ladybird (which is still in beta) I don't feel ready to switch yet, due to potential issues with user agent sniffing (some sites are already bad enough, getting them to support #Firefox can be difficult) and also because of my extensive profile and bookmark system.

@jon I really did give it a solid try. Seems it has some bugs not found in chrome related to inadvertently preventing the OS sleep functionality when I have multiple profiles running at once. Also the password fill out functionality is severely lacking compared to Firefox. (I need the right click select account functionality) Otherwise it works rather well: reading mail, mastodon, and movie streaming. So for now that's how I'll continue using it for the foreseeable future.
