We are very well aware of the fact that X for Grok is now offering a spicy mode showing explicit sexual content with some output generated with childlike images:

πŸ“Œ A detailed request for information on Grok has been sent to X, and we are reviewing the company’s responses.

πŸ“Œ X has been ordered to retain all internal documents and data concerning Grok’s features until the end of 2026.

The Digital Services Act is very clear:

In the EU, all platforms have to get their own house in order.

@EUCommission Dear EU, I must say that your handling of this situation is an utter disgrace. For some time now, you have been attempting to implement mass surveillance, also known as 'chat control', in the name of protecting children. Yet when it comes to protecting children, you talk of 'spicy mode' and 'childlike images', but you do very little. In case you haven't realised, 'spicy mode' is the regular mode, and those are explicit images generated from pictures of real children.

@hembrow@todon.eu @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu the EU (as well as other institutions from EU countries) should abandon, as much and as quickly as feasible, all non EU platforms and suppliers.

                  1. Given what it creates, please set "spicy mode" in quotation marks, instead of adopting the marketing terminology of X. Unless, of course, you believe that synthetic #CSAM is just another type of "spicy content".

                  2. As of now, your account @EU_commission on X (which should no longer exist) did not post this text.

@EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu how about getting off that clearly fascist platform? Maybe setting a signal that you stand against fascism? Or a signal that you do actually care more about ethics and morality and law than having the nazis and bots there give you affirmations? Inaction is just as much of a signal as any action you take, sometimes even louder
