    One of the reasons I love the #Barbican because it's such a psychogeographically distinct 'realm'.

    The City has old, modern & semi-modern all nestled uneasily side by side, whereas the Barbican is a #brutalist nautilus which crawled into #London out of the murky Thames.

    And one that has built a strong shell around itself, to keep the shifting tides of the City at bay. (Sure, a few little old things reside within. But they know which decade is in charge here…)
