Impressive amount of traffic through the Fulda station. Long container and intermodal trains at five minute intervals, it seems. Plus ICEs and regionals. I am taking the ICE to Hamburg, from where I will continue right away to Copenhagen.

@tml And yet, not even all ICEs on the line are stopping there anymore. I’m from this weird place (hi urban paper recycling factory!) and the German wall coming down and high speed rail being built through that sleepy small town was the best things that ever happened. Please in my backyard!

The ICE to Hamburg was not significantly delayed, and had time for a quick lunch in the Wandelhalle. Not matjes this time but chicken biriyani. Then train to Copenhagen where I am staying over the night. In the ProfilHotels Copenhagen Plaza, right across the street from KΓΈbenhavn H. Nice view of the tracks, but as such not really that interesting traffic, very little variation.

Tomorrow, unless this cold gets worse, will be a museum day. Haven’t been to Louisiana in many years, will do that. And possibly the SMK, too, if I have the stamina.

Then late in the evening the night train to Stockholm (from MalmΓΆ).

@kallekn and @joakimfors , would either or both of you have time for a beer or two in Lund tomorrow evening?
