@auscandoc No worries at all, I'm always pleased to be able to support and help keep Fedi instances online and operational.
Right now I have no idea how contributions were managed / provided before I took over but going forward if you would like to provide any financial support these are the two routes I have setup which will help fund the instance in the future:

Hunting around on Patreon.. is there an annual membership option. (I have other Patreons that have this option). Just easier for the accounting.
@auscandoc As far as I can see it is enabled on my end, Patreon isn't a site I have a huge amount of experience with so it's quite possible I'm doing something entirely wrong, I am not sure if it's one of those stupid things where you have to sign up monthly and then change to yearly or how it would have worked with other folks you support on Patreon?
Apologies, I'm sure it is something I've missed or can't explain properly!

@wild1145 Ok.. in the end I bought an annual gift membership and sent it to myself… but of course I now can’t redeem it. I don’t really have to “redeem” it but I want to make sure you still get the funds if I don’t.
It seems to be a glitch in the app interface versus the web.
The web interface gives me an annual options… if I click on upgrade (from free) it gives me an annual option…

@wild1145 But if I try it in the app (which was the original way I tried) I only get a monthly option.
@auscandoc I'm wondering if it's a weird thing with the App store, I know iOS and Apple made some changes to make subscriptions difficult and more expensive. I have just sent Patreon a support case asking them for some guidance on how to fix this as I think I do have the money from the annual subscription as a purchase but obviously it's silly if you aren't able to actually get the benefits of supporting by seeing the very few posts I have time to make!
