@marcoarment I had the same thought

@marcoarment I’d be happy to pay it if it meant the Safari plug in unlocked properly more often than 20% of the time.

@marcoarment Holy crap. I haven’t received any email, but I’m subscribed through Apple (with a v7 migration discount they offered a couple years ago), so I checked my subscription status… +125% increase in my case/currency.
Thanks for the heads up, now I have a couple months to evaluate alternatives!

@axby @pax0707 @marcoarment If you only use Bitwarden for that feature, yes, that seems like a steep price hike *. A big notepad is cheap, and it might serve you better if you have no interrest in the more advanced bells and features you get with a basic subscription.
Or you could use Keepass or Lastpass. They’d probably pay people to sign up these days.*I ,apart from using it, have no affiliation with Bitwarden in any way.
@Izng @axby @marcoarment was being a bit sarcastic there. 10, or even 20$, a year is nothing compared to the competition, especially since you get everything most users need in a free version anyways.

@marcoarment They were already too expensive. Now it’ll be worse.
I highly recommend eWallet Password Manager. It’s iOS and MacOS. You pay once and own it forever. And it’s not expensive.
-
@marcoarment You’re lucky.
Bitwarden increased the price by 100%!
From 10 to 20.
A year.@pax0707 @marcoarment the cheapest 1password subscription is EUR 33 a year.
For a ridiculously small amount of storage space. I don’t understand why password managers are so expensive.

@johnnydecimal @SamuraiSakura @abdelkader_boui @marcoarment Mine is going from $48 to $71.88 — that’s 50%.
@drobeson And you’re not upgrading to a Family plan? That’s the Family price.
-
@marcoarment Indeed, i’m “Updating” to Proton Pass…
@Kdude @marcoarment Seems like I need to take a look at this one too. Seems like a possible alternative.
