          I haven't used others, but I think automatic means without asking. That is a setting where it asks you if you want to save a new credential and if it is off it will not automatically do it.

            @Tutanota I have a true paper booklet from MOLESKINE, starting with tab A through Z. Password are complex and substitution/shifted coded. Works like a charm.

                @mas @Tutanota Also, I suspect that is 'technically' a feature of 'KeePass Browser' which is 'technically' a separate thing.

                          Keepass, works everywhere, and doesn't even ask for network permissions.

                          Never trusted a "cloud" service for securiry or privacy.

                            @Tutanota I used KeePassXC before, with a side of 1Password for easier sharing with the family. Moved all of us to Proton, even the kid has his own vault now and everyone is happy.
