Inspired by @TheBreadmonkey earlier today, I am also having a hard time of it of late. I greatly appreciate people’s photo contributions of animals and memes which I have been examining.
I’m starting another Leave of Absence (but it’s being backdated to when it really started a month ago) and will be seeing my GP later this week for a Physician’s Official Declaration of Poopiness
letter. I was showered and dressed by 10:00 today (hooray!) and am well into a pot of coffee (caffeine is a hell of a drug), So I’m doing okay, but the real test will be to see if I can do it again tomorrow.
Once I’ve finished at the Dr’s, I’ve scheduled an appointment at Catfé — https://www.catfe.ca — so I hope that the two events will put me firmly back on the mend.

.@IanAMartin One time I went to Catfe and one of the cats sat on my lap, and everyone else in the room was so jealous. I had been chosen.
Usually the cats ignored me when I went, because they are cats after all.
Hope they allow you in their presence.

@giflian Thank you, I have the same hope.
Often I find myself attracting cats, especially if I am in need of emotional support. I have no idea how many times people have said “oh, wow! [Name of Cat] never does that with strangers!”
They always seem to sense when someone could benefit from their power, and certainly my need is more pronounced of late. So, here’s hoping.

@Erased_Citizen @giflian That middle image is glorious. “How did they get up there‽” is a question as old as time. Or, at least, about 3,000 years ago when cats were initially domesticated by the Egyptians (if I remember the details from the video a few weeks ago).

Damn. Where did I put that nap?
Bloody caffeine.
Ah! Here it is.

@IanAMartin @giflian the space was well equipped with cat climbing furniture and fixtures on the walls for them. The cafe are really good at a) providing an interesting environment for the cats/kittens and b) allowing them to get away from human interaction if they want to

@Erased_Citizen @giflian With “cat climbing furniture and fixtures on the walls for them” you have described every inside space in the world. I’m convinced that you could find cats on the inside of the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral if they were permitted to roam freely in the building.
