For the record, I’m no longer a CBS News consumer, despite having worked there on and off for about 20 years. It’s now a hopeless place under Bari Weiss.

Individual CBS reporters will still do good work, but overall the rot has set in.

    Breaks my heart.

Dr Mark Hyman, who claimed he reduced his biological age by 20 years, brought on as a contributor”

@samlitzinger it breaks my heart, too, Sam, especially when I recall the once-proud tradition of CBS News, home of Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite and others who believed in journalistic standards. And it makes me sad to recall how the founders of CBS decided to run the News department
as a public service even if News ran at a fiscal loss for CBS.

@samlitzinger Man, that hurts. I've watched CBS since watching Cronkite with my parents every weeknight.

I'm really sorry it's come to this. I can't bear to watch anymore.

@samlitzinger There is no reliable news media that I can find. NBC, MSNOW, ABC, CBS, CNN, NewsMax, OAN, FOX, even PBS and the BBC is questionable.

This is all so hard to watch from the outside, but it must be so much worse with a personal connection.

You'd think all the powerful billionaire pharm corps "that have been controlling our system for decades" would have some power to fight back, but alas they are in fact weak and the wellness industry was just lying and harming for profit.

@JaneinNJ @samlitzinger They skipped the part in science class where you look through a microscope and see bacteria, germs, and blood cells. These doofuses (doofi?) think germs and such should be the size of small spiders, and since they’ve never seen one walk across a desk in front of of them—well then, they don’t even exist!
