    Anyone who grew up before the early 1990s knows better than to use whitespace when naming files and directories.

    Kids who grew up after that think it is fine, but then wonder why software breaks.

    I don't follow the old 8.3 rule, but I certainly know better than to insert whitespace into names.

      @charette My frustration spending more time in the Linux world is how in Windows you have to escape the slash for directory separators. Poor choice..
