      @dyckron

      When Ontario health minister Sylvia Jones was asked what data had been used to justify closing a supervised injection site in Ottawa that was not far from a daycare centre she deflected by saying she wouldn’t want hers or anyone else’s children to have to see that kind of activity. Some people at the press conference applauded.

      After it was closed a while residents in the area say addicts are now using in the open and discarding their needles in the neighbourhood, including not far from the daycare centre.
