@_daisy I could have clarified. It's fine to have it in libraries. I meant don't teach it in English courses - oftentimes as part of the required curriculum.

@JessTheUnstill I wasn't finding fault - although I do not believe in banning books. Teach what they are saying and the context of the day vs present. That's how we learn what is right or wrong. And why. History in my grade 9 history taught about the holocaust - I had nightmares. Still do sometimes. Knowledge and context matter. My thoughts but absolutely not disparaging what you have to say. Nor discounting that.
