Just finished "The Annual Migration of Clouds" by Premee Mohamed, and it’s an easy

for me. Mohamed, a western Canadian author, sets us in a quietly brutal story in a post-collapse Alberta university town, and that choice makes the future feel uncomfortably close to ours. The world has ended, but not all at once; what’s left is exhaustion, small community loyalty, and people trying to decide whether survival is enough. What stayed with me most was how real the book feels: no big speeches, just tough, small decisions that add up to something like hope. For a relatively short novel you can tackle in a couple hours, it leaves a longer echo than many sprawling dystopias I’ve read. #Books #BookReview #DystopianSciFi #PremeeMohamed #Reading #CanadianAuthor #CanLit #Alberta #MastoBooks #Bookstodon -
