@brenttoderian.bsky.social Trump is not corrupt. He was given a democratic mandate to use 1600 Pennsylvania as a branch office of Trump Org to run his office so he is making the most of it.
The American People elected a Ferengi to office knowing full well wthat all a Fenegi thinks about is make money for himself. And this is why Congress is perfectly OK with how Trump conducts himself at his new branch office. And they probably will sign off on Trump signing a perpetual licencing deal for the Trump Ballroom with US government having to pay royalties to Trump Org for use of the name. Same for the Trump Center (formerly Kennedy Memorial Center for performing Arts).
