      @mpjgregoire this probably generalises: economic growth, in any community, shifts one's perspective from the "least of these" column towards the "eye of the needle" column.

        @mpjgregoire I wouldn't buy into that too deeply. I'd pin it on the laundries, abuse scandals, and the church being too close to the state.
