February averages 12 above-freezing Highs, with 4 of those getting to 5°C.
10°C is unusual, but we got some in 2025, 2024, 2020, 2017, 2016, 2006...

https://public.tableau.com/shared/5D3TSGJ4W?:display_count=n&:origin=viz_share_link...the record Highs this week range from 9.4°C for the 3rd & 4th, up to 13.9°C for the 8th.
The record Lows are from 4.3°C for the 3rd, down to 0°C for the 5th & 8th.
Based on the forecasts we might take a shot at some of those.

https://public.tableau.com/shared/DM7R9TMCY?:display_count=n&:origin=viz_share_link...how often do we get a warm February after a fairly warm January?
Well...all of our modern Januarys are pretty warm, compared to history.
But 2016, 2013 & 2012 were some recent~ish ones.

https://public.tableau.com/shared/8CCTSNN5B?:display_count=n&:origin=viz_share_link...but February has also thrown some big deepfreezes at us, in 2021 and 2019, and smaller one in 2025.

https://public.tableau.com/shared/S3457RT7G?:display_count=n&:origin=viz_share_link...while our average January temperatures have increased by 8-10°C since records began in the 1880s, February isn't quite that extreme with temperatures up by around 3-5°C.
