Men boasting about their physique is an instant turn off because the message they are sending is they are immature, lack confidence, and are seeking approval in a childish manner.

I don't want a leader who is not comfortable in his own skin.
When I see a man posting photos of his workout on social media I immediately hit the block button (unless it is someone needing encouragement while improving their health by trying to lose weight)

@SnowyCA What makes you think they're trying to impress women? It is, as you imply, a shout out to insecure males; the manosphere. They're signaling their alpha status. Incels. You know, their base.

They don't need women. They have AI for that.

@SnowyCA Here, in the manosphere, you're either alpha or you're beta and if you're beta you're a cuck. And being a cuck means seeking pleasure vicariously through that of your alpha.

Cucks feel the alpha's every victory, his every accomplishment, his every time with a woman. They bask in the alpha's strength, his boldness. They lust for his life and his body; every bulging muscle, every ripple on his abs, the sweat on his brow, his hunters' gaze staring off into the distance as if searching for prey.

But Cucks also fear and feel the alpha's hardships. It hits as a searing agony, they cannot tolerate his failure. The alpha must be worthy of their worship. He must be strong, and he must perform rituals demonstrating his physical strength. The alpha must always train, must always be ready. Must always be winning or he will be challenged from below, and the next alpha proclaimed.

I'm a man, so I know these things. We all get a manual.

@zazzoo That's good to hear, but how about those of you who opted out, helping us think up a way to rid us of those dangerous illogical and "performative" children running the world.

@SnowyCA Well that would be nice if there was an easy solution. In the meantime I just remember they're a mostly-ostracized minority who just happen to be loud right now because they think they've found each other and formed a subculture on social media. And with the rise of right-wing media and trump in power they're all sitting in their mothers' basements "just saying what everybody thinks."
