Le Monde ("sur X"), El País ("en X"), Tagesspiegel ("auf X"), The Guardian ("on X"), you name it.
How much attention is generated simply because politicians use X as their main communication channel? How much journalism is dragged into following and amplifying what is said on a platform widely recognized as a disinformation and hate speech tool?
If politicians left X, how much of what remains would be newsworthy beyond the gossip sections?
Until when?

How to leave Twitter.

Get a mastodon account.
Post in Mastodon first, then on the vile platforms you use. FIRSTAlways post on Mastodon first. So reporters look there, first, will use Mastodon link in news stories
Followers will learn to look at Mastodon first
Dont ever put links to vile platforms anywhere.
You "use" twitter to reach those not yet off it. But don't link or encourage its use.
Forward this to anyone who needs help leaving.
