@leonardr This is just an appreciation post to say that I think that's a really well written job advert. I like that you start plainly with what it won't be and what it will be and how you'll support the person. I like that you didn't pick random numbers of years of experience.

@mikemccaffrey I second that fantastic job posting. I copied that page to save for inspiration and to show other people what a clear and functional job posting for a software engineer should look like.

@leonardr I don't suppose the US-only requirement is negotiable via an employer of record or something? Always kind of painful when I see a posting there's no logistical reason I couldn't fill, since it's remote in a compatible timezone, just a legal reason...

@leonardr sad it's ruby and js. The pay is good enough that mid levels not on the coast could accept it near the high end.
