    When I post some good news on some topic, I don't need you coming into my mentions with a "Yes but..." or a "Great but we could do better..."
    Sometimes it's okay to just take the good news and leave it on the table.

      Sometimes it's okay to just take the good news and leave it on the table.

          Yes! There are a lot of other replies out there, that are not doing nearly as well - we really need to work on them too!

          They could be SO much better, if we just put out back into it and made sure that everybody had the best replies ever.

                @petergleick Perhaps somewhat related: I see many people on here apologetically prefacing their happy announcements with something like β€œI know the world is on fire but…” I totally understand the intention, but I wish people didn’t find it necessary to do so. We don’t need to be reminded that the world is on fire, and we can just skip ahead to sharing your bit of joy.
