    I hate Discord. The platform is proprietary, the U/X is just completely confusing and it's difficult to find anything.

    If you run a project, I love @Discourse - it's open source, the U/X is great and you can archive everything in markdown (and much more).

      @adulau@infosec.exchange I hate Discourse UI/UX I find it confusing and so painfully slow and the search almost never give me what I want.

      (yeah discord too has those issues… at least discourse can work without being logged in I guess)

          @adulau@infosec.exchange Yeah… nope don't have time for that.
          Also I don't think lot of ppl will like the fact that I just want to throw the current UI in a bin and start over with one with less js
