This mural, based on a painting by John Byrne commissioned to mark Connolly's 75th birthday, was created in 2017 by Rogue One, but will soon no longer be visible. For now, just one eye remains, staring out from behind the new steel and concrete superstructure.

@thisismyglasgow Ahh so they went ahead with building that empty block of student flats nobody needs. Wonderful
I had to move away from Glasgow because there was nowhere for me to live and I had a disability to prioritise my claim for housing. Yet empty student flats! Got to have at least 4 blocks per street in Glasgow
