Is the idea here that housing prices reflect desirability? That's the only 'logic' I can see and it's backward as all hell.

By that logic, inflation is desirable - how much easier can a billionaire become a trillionaire than by devaluing currency? "Look, the volume knob goes up to 11!"

Ugh. Maybe the goal is that the peasant class won't be able to afford guillotines...
