      @researchfairy this is the fault of grifty big tech companies too.
      We had machine learning for ages.

      Now all the money is tied up in the 'AI' buzz phrase because they knew they had to market their bullshit generators better somehow
      The useful stuff is tarnished by the slop
      And the slop is legitimised with the AI hype.

      It sucks
