I'm rather frustrated with doctors in describing people with larger body types, especially in permanent visit notes. Often they say "obese" or the triggering surge of "well nourished".

"Well nourished" is particularly troublesome or triggering. Describing food can trigger some people. And there are valid reasons for a larger body type than an overconsumption of food, such as medications or hormones.

And sometimes, it's not relevant. It's like: my dude, I just came in for a painful hangnail or earache. In what world is my body type relevant to the discussion?

Why not instead adopt something more neutral like "well padded organs". Or make it playful and say "suitable to roast over an open fire." šŸ˜‰

I’m glad obese is losing favor. It is subjective, judgmental, or tied to the problematic BMI, widely known for misrepresenting health.
