Wrote to my Congress critters again in the wild hope that Democrats can extract some meaningful changes in how ICE and CBP operate. (I know we aren't to get what I really want, which is the total end to ICE in its current form.) Suggested some additional demands not in their original list as well as encouragement not back down on the demands already made.

Found myself quoting @mcnado regarding ICE's "ingrained culture of lawlessness" as well as Adam Serwer from one of his pieces in The Atlantic.
