@flipper @infobeautiful my first long distance flight was Copenhagen -> San Francisco. 11 hours of midday sunlight 🥲, given that we started at 11:00 local time and arrived at 13:00

@aizuchi @infobeautiful electrons would be fine, for most matter protects against them very well. I've heard that at the air travel altitude it's mostly fast neutrons showering down from the secondary decay.

@hcf @infobeautiful exactly, it’s the mass and energy of the particles that matters. The cusp is a jacuzzi of energy, tho
