Sure that's all very well, but if you don't make those isolation discs out of 3.7 mm high density PTFE, you're not going to avoid subspace resonance above 67 GHz.

Also you still won't hear the full stereophonic effect unless you sit in that cupboard.

Wacky, but doesn't beat the article where they compared the sound of digital music files stored on an NTFS file system versus those stored on an ext3 file system.

I can't remember which one won, but one of them reliably had a richer, fuller sound.

@PsyChuan @bloor The gold plating improves the digital sound transmission by making the light pulses more resilient to damage in the fiber smh, you just need twenty thousand dollars in equipment to notice that it's there (sarcasm)

@bloor I recall visiting a high-end audio shop maybe 25-30 years ago. They had a Denon single CD player, almost a cubic foot in volume, for $5000. I asked salesperson about "why?", and among its features was "no stray light can get and interfere with the laser." Hell, a runaway train couldn't budge it. Strangely, I did not purchase it.
