@librarymonster They would the perfect infrastructure to run peertube instances. Them or local coops. You have to be member or have a library card to join -

(You will have to skip a few programming libraries, or perhaps it's easier to work with an exported CSV file.)

I found @VernonLibrary !!! But oh no, they haven't posted since 2024.
So many esteemed Euro libraries. We gotta catch on...

@librarymonster I live about 10 minutes from Vernon Library.
They were sort of active on Mastodon for a while, but as you noted, that has ended without even a "Gone Fishing" sign. My guess is that whoever was responsible for the account is no longer a library employee. -

@librarymonster I can't even get my local library to opt in to bridging their Bluesky account
No RSS or iCalendar feeds for any of their stuff either
