Some people are living this fantasy where generative AI will be gone once the bubble pops and they can just wait it out. No, what will happen is Google will buy it all in a fire sale like they did with dark fiber in the 2000s and put ads on it. All the while artists are suffocating for lack of air.

Yes. That, but also we'll be done with 'free' AI because incentivization is over. Microsoft will quietly rename Office (again) and Copilot will still be available, but for a monthly fee. Etcetera.
