Oof, I have seven follower requests in the queue from restricted servers, all waiting for me to think up new #CAPTCHAlice questions for them.

@alice really? sorry, i thought i understood but i guess not. should i retract?
@joshsusser no, but I like to invite upbeat answers. I've learned that if I leave room for nihilism, then I get nihilism.
-
@alice If you had a star trek style teleporter where you could teleport anywhere on earth on a whim, no legal or logistical impediments to consider, where would be the first place you'd want to see?
@alice I'd be a pedant and say that, since the ISS is technically touching earths atmosphere it's on earth, so I'd want to visit it.

@alice if it helps, i think of it as a rare opportunity to find out what something tastes like without consequences, relatively speaking

Any suggestions?
I always aim to make them:
- fun (not inviting negative responses)
- interesting (require a little thought / research)
- frivolous (not deeply personal or political)
- accessible (for folx from all walks of life)
- filtering (to sus out bots and trolls)
- something I can answer too@alice
"what features do your two favorite books/movies have in common?"
"If you could have been born in the 12th century anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?"
"Is there a standard flavor of ice cream that, if it were set in front of you, you absolutely wouldn't eat?"
"You agree to meet someone that you are only aware of online. How would you tell them to know it's you when you meet?" -

@meltedcheese I've seen one used as an impromptu ax at a skating rink.
That was a dark day.
@alice I was thinking about Tom Hanks in βCast Awayβ

οΈ@joshsusser hmm...that could be interesting.
"If you could eat anything once, what would you eat if there were zero negative repercussions for you?"
Trump. I'd get to see what the rich taste like, we'd have one fewer billionaire in the world, and it would be a hell of a statement to the rest.

@meltedcheese ah, never seen that, but I know several of the cultural references from memes.

@alice de gustibus non est disputandum!

@Cheeseness fair point.
@alice @Cheeseness
Okay then. If you were a character from legend, who would you be?I'd go for Polyphemus: goat-herder, cyclops and master cheese-maker

Bots are very hard to filter out now. But here are good ideas:- Tell me about the last time a stranger was kind to you.
- Tell me about your grandmother. What was she like?
- When was the last time you sang out loud?
