why is this fight so much harder than the original

there's no opportunity to attack and though he telegraphs his attacks he doesn't telegraph which attack and its just always whichever one will hit you

I forgot there was a boss in the royal waterways that I never beat because there were no benches nearby, hopefully this guy will give me swim when i beat him
