@thebeeguy in western Washington I am already seeing queens. This would be even more distressing if I hadn't made a point of planting winter flowering shrubs.My personal favorite is lonicera x standishii. It literally blooms all winter, and that's what my bumblebee queens are feeding on, along with the hummingbirds and other winter critters
