I question how much the publicity of this book is profile for, “see how powerful we are?”And this is how I made the link back to that old book, microserfs (I will need to read it (reread?) to see if it is the book I am thinking of. Pretty sure.). I used to be in such environs and realized why “documentation”, as it was called, less often made much sense. Coders are phenomenal at coding, not at writing books about user end guidance, aka “documentation”. With an interest in systems analysis, I realized the gap between coders & the rest of the world. I see it, again, in this book. The innocence described is believable. “Just coders” was a motivating slag. Power is an important achievement.#computing #books #oligarchy #politics
