@Kellyshenanigans It is so hard to have kids in school when most school systems do not provide good ventilation, nobody else wants to mask due to peer pressure, and kids show up sick. Your safe practices are laudable, especially your kids wearing N95 masks. I’m so sorry your kid got covid from school despite masking most of the time. Hope they recovered w/o sequelae. Glad everyone remained negative.

Flu activity is moderate to high across much of the Northeast, with steady declines over the past few weeks. Outpatient influenza-like illness (ILI) for the region decreased to around 3.9%, and emergency department (ED) visits decreased to ~2.5%.Every state reported decreases in outpatient ILI this past week, and all states reporting stable or declining ED rates.

@mikemccaffrey We know for sure from news reports that she had Covid last year (and previously worked with Covid without informing the filming crew). If Covid didn't kill her directly, it's certainly possible that it had a hand in weakening her pulmonary and immune system to make her more vulnerable to something that did.
