@robpumphrey no. Since they already said that's the thing they are programmed to do, it's no longer a traffic accident waiting to happen, but a number of premeditated assaults with a deadly weapon. Forfeit all those things immediately and incarcerate the whole chain of command.

@HayiWena @kimu @meganL i'm coming from the premise that trek has always been wildly over priced. all the frames and components for all bicycles come from china. from the same 3 factories. unless things have changed, trek is getting their parts from the same places other bike brands are that charge half what trek does. if trek has a manufacturing facility (making their own frames and groupsets) in the u.s. they're not "American made" they're American assembled.

@Zygos That's 6 miles/hour -- which means that many joggers and runners will be passing them (a 10 minute mile isn't fast! ) while the cyclists will be struggling to stay balanced at those speeds, especially if they're carrying anything in saddle bags.
