@faab64 Definitely hot as hell, but far from instant death. A typical sauna is way hotter, usually around 80-110°C. Lethal when sustained, but definitely not instantly.Also I'd recommend focusing on wet bulb temperatures (the temperature to which an object can be cooled down to with evaporation of water) instead of the dry temperature. Humidity is what prevents sweating from cooling the body, and that's what kills people. A sustained wet bulb temperature of around 35°C is already lethal to young and healthy people.
