@reiver Yeah...Notable in nearly all the panels at the other conference I was at today, was that our governments and academics are proposing "digital governance" actions entirely on reaction to big tech social media/data harvesters/AI as the only digital communications space there ever was or would be.Someone w/20+ years journalism work talking about having lunch with Geoffrey Hinton, yet speaking like the entire internet spontaneously arose in 2006, and developed a 1st problem at GPT2.0.
