@wintermute_ai I'd happily host at home if I had the fiber to match, but alas.and sure you could argue fiber is also 'rented' there, but I would argue that there are levels of control here.You have quite a bit more control over your life, and your stuff, if you host it yourself instead of buy into a closed ecosystem, even if that infra is hosted on another rented foundation.In the end there's no such thing as rent-free, even if you buy a house you have to pay taxes for it. It's all rented.
