@cflynnbooks Thanks, I'm a little worried that my only Windows OS that I can use right now is on that laptop, which is a secondhand purchase, and if I bulldoze it, then I've no Windows anymore (I have this perhaps a little unfounded fear of WHAT IF I NEED WINDOWS all of a sudden - then again, a year ago I had to install MS software on it for the purpose of dealing with a client's infra system for work reasons, but this is a fewer than five years type of occurrence.)But I do want/need my laptop for writing at the same time. Of course that becomes difficult if I use and OS that decides to one day format my hard drive
