@Saorsa legend for advocating for this @thisismissem@activitypub.space legend for listening and giving us some insight I am all for inter instance cooperation if it prevents parts from the fedi of being segregated when such draconian measures are not required yet.There are a lot of instances that federate freely and opt-in for a case-by-case moderation basis. Because they want to be able to federate freely for the sake of their members. I think the guilt by association mindset could be remedied by more complete reports.I'm not blaming other instances for taking the easy route in lack of information and context, i can understand with the sheer volume of reports that some of these communities receive on a weekly basis that would be very difficult.But I have faith in the development and improvement of the activitypub protocol. And honestly, I consider it the future of social media, decentralization is the future.Thank you for your continued development ​​

You really ought to write a blog post on epistemic heuristics and the impact that it has on moderating communities @xaetacore. I've known for a while what it was through observing cause and effect, but never really knew the proper terminology for it until recently. A lot of interactions suddenly made a whole lot of sense afterward in retrospect.

@tursiops I compiled Nginx with BoringSSL and HTTP/3 support and then enabled it in the configuration. Will create a blog-article in the upcoming days about it.

@stefano @tobybryans The price and value for money is a large part of why I'm seriously considering them as well as the fact they seem to just have more user configurable functionality which I think is part of what I'm struggling with on some of my unifi gear I've deployed (as well as constant stability issues with some of this gear). Appreciate the insight, will continue to do my homework on it and see if purchasing some gear is the way forward!

@KuJoe that seems like way too many. Try to have one web concurrency per cpu then a few threads per web. Like 10 or 20. Well it depends on your system and also the number of users. How many parallel jobs do you think can run on each of your cpus ?
