@commonst @ShaulaEvans are these concerns something that you’re interested in addressing? or just good excuses to reject AI?what are your other concerns? maybe, just like “where the servers are”, something can be done about them. what do you mean when you say AI “listens” to conversations, is that different than your smartphone “listening” for you to say “hey google”? do you turn your phone off during therapy?

@AllysonShaw AI-detection tools are unreliable, particularly for non-standard English (the article has Caribbean creole inflections) and a result that it was "100%" written by AI is improbable.I would be cautious of accusing a writer based on a post from someone I don't know on X.

@drewph as a former army medic who worked in hospital and clinic environments this blows my mind. All the AI madness is just that, madness. I read an article recently that the Mayo Clinic in the US is using AI to passively record all interactions between clinicians and patients. Very alarming.

@RLRVivaldi "But no one would know" is missing the ENTIRE POINT. Not to mention I think even if people can't put their finger on it they KNOW when something is AI because something just doesn't quite feel right often. Some things may slip through the cracks of course, but some AI is more obvious than they may think.
