@heiseonline Surprised they shut down 3G before 2G. Huge change between 2G and 3G in terms of sharing of capacity.BTW, the ETCS2 train signaling standard is based on 2G and railway groups are aware of the need to eventually upgrade. They have proprietary additions such as one train able to broadcast emergency voice message to all other trains in area. (it also replaces analogue voice radio). ETCS2 is still being deployed.
