@Dataless I remember reading it on holiday in Scotland. I'd just read the amazing Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb and then I read DaVinci Code. I like Alan Moore's advice. There are benefits for not DNF a book. I feel TDvC did well from the marketing. Often, I'll open a book with pages of praise about the novel, and I take it as a challenge to find reasons to hate it.
